A Datascene & MetaMusic collaboration
Check
your
ISNI
As part of the RIDEAU Fair in Quebec City, MetaMusic, the first ISNI agency dedicated to music, is partnering with Datascene to present an ISNI search tool open to everyone. Check now if you have this unique identifier. It allows you to confirm if you already have your ISNI, or even several!
ISNI: The Unique Identifier for all Creative Disciplines
The ISNI (International Standard Name Identifier) is a unique identifier designed to avoid ambiguities caused by homonyms and to promote data interoperability. Certified by the ISO, it identifies the millions of contributors to creative works and the individuals and companies involved in their production and marketing.
It applies to writers, artists, visual creators, performers, producers, publishers, and many others. It belongs to a family of standardized international identifiers that includes identifiers for works, recordings, products, and rights holders in all directories, such as the ISBN, ISSN, ISRC, ISWC, and DOI.
Identify the individuals, organizations, collectives, or groups!
An ISNI (International Standard Name Identifier) is associated with a public identity. Whether you are an individual creator, a company, or a creative collective such as a theater company or musical group, you can have an ISNI.
You may already have one. If not, MetaMusic will offer individual or group ISNI assignment at a low cost.

2 or more results that match your profile
You will need to merge your identifiers. Note down all the ISNIs that correspond to you in your files.
- If you are a musician, you can group all your ISNIs in your MetaMusic profile. They will be merged later.
